The Earlshall Design Is Named After Earlshall Castle In Fife, Which Had A Row Of Elms With Rooks’ Nests. A Strong, Stylised Design, It Sometimes Incorporates Quotes From Popular Poems. This Pattern Was Brought Out In The Early Twentieth Century.
A ‘Loving’ Or ‘Friendship’ Cup Is A Traditional Scottish Design, Introduced To The Wemyss® Range In The Nineteenth Century. These Cups Were Often Handed Round The Table At Weddings And Other Celebrations To Reinforce Kinship And Goodwill. We Can Personalise Loving Cups For Special Occasions.
